Citroën Ami is transformed into a retro two-seater
Signed by Caselani, the Citroën Ami has a style reminiscent of Citroëns of the past. A transformation kit priced at £4,200

Over the years, the Citroën Ami has been adorned with special stickers, either produced by the company itself or designed by the owners of this small electric quadricycle. But we have never seen one like this. It is called Type-Ami and is produced by Caselani, a bodywork manufacturer in Cremona that has over the years produced conversion kits for the Citroën Berlingo, Jumper and SpaceTourer.
Dedicated to the Ami, its main characteristics are inspired by the Citroëns of the past. The Citroën Type-Ami, which will make its world debut at Retromobile 2025, is currently undergoing its final touches and is available for pre-order at Caselani.
Back to the future
The main aesthetic feature is the front with a large (closed) grille dominated by the Citroën logo. Not a minimalist design like the current one, but two broken segments dominate the nose of the transformed Citroën Ami.

The general proportions remain those of the production version, but the body is crossed by small horizontal curves. In keeping with tradition, the wheel rims have a simple design reminiscent of the Citroëns of the past. The panels and various details transform the French electric quadricycle and are compatible with both the current version and the pre-styled one, without in any way changing its weight, which remains at 471 kg.

How the Citroen Ami changes with the Caselani kit

The Caselani conversion kit for the Citroen Ami costs 5,000 euro
